MakeOver Monday: New Look

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a very wonderful Mother's Day, and spent it with your loved ones. I had a wonderful weekend with my family. Ill post more about it later this week tho. Today is my first MakeOver Monday.  Before unveiling my current new look, picture heavy to show you how it got to this point :).

I dyed my hair last Wednesday to a light brunette.  The master stylist at the salon I went to Antidote Salon, said it is considered a dark blonde...but I beg to differ. I think its too dark and has hint of red to be in the blonde family.

Oh well, my hair really needed a break from bleaching regardless. It is so fried right now. I have lots of tiny fly a ways all over my hair caused by breakage. me so sad.  So what do you all think? Do I look better black, brown or blonde? Have a great Monday!

  1. I need to get in the cleaning mood too! :)

And I think you look gorgeous with the new do! I honestly like that natural hair color look better. It's classy and sophisticated! I actually want to lighten my hair to that chocolate brown like yours.

    1. Hahaha...cleaning is a endless job here. I cleaned the living-room and its back to how it looked this morning!! Ugh.

Thank You Jen! I kinda did feel classy and sophisticated at dinner last night with my new do.

Before kids, I used to change my hair based on my emotional state...so like, a lot :). The good, the bad, the ugly...lol. The perm to bleach blunt cut...ew i know, i definitely couldn't pull those styles off.

So Yes, for the better settle change...the chocolate brown is one of my faves. Its low maintenance and such a lush color that's not too dramatic but a change:). With your doey eyes, I think any hair color will suit you soooo nicely.

    1. Oh I wish to be naturally blonde!!! haha. I love it too, not gonna lie, its my favorite out of all the ridiculous hair styles I have put my hair through...lol. BUT being Asian and having pretty dark long hair, its effin expensive to maintain!! $170 in the bay area and $95-100 in the central valley every 6-8weeks!! I hate it when blondes dye their hair jet black...lol.

    1. For the summer, its probably a better timing to turn blonde than when I did it...lol. I'm so backwards on fashion/trends. I hoped to get JLo's hair color by next hair appt tho :). If anything, i need to TLC my hair back to health before I go bald.

You made it to my daily reads, my friend. Thank you for your support!

  7. TWIN! I swear we're the same. I'm trying to go back to a more natural hair color too! My hair is prone to breakage and split ends due to all the bleaching I've done too! But I actually just bought the Tresemme Anti-Breakage Shampoo and Conditioner last week and its working pretty good!

I think the new look is GORGEOUS! I think I'm gonna try going to dark brown this weekend. I'm so fed up with my hair already that I'm going to chop some of it off in the bathroom today - at least to get the split ends off.

And I swear you're my long lost sister! You totally made me smile because you remembered about the 100 followers giveaway. Lol. So what should I giveaway? I need suggestions. A gift card? Beauty products? Green tea kit-kats? Lol.

    1. Since this is a giveaway for being a follower for your blog, I think it needs to be more personal to you...like what you totally recommend your readers to have...um, whats your everyday used product? If I win, I want AT LEAST 2 green tea kit kats =) but that just me...lol.

you can get a duplicate of something you raved about in your past posts? I think anything will be awesome:). Just keep on posting:). Ill be a follower regardless of a giveaway or not :).

with your skin tone, I think any hair color will be fabulous on you:). I mean, we are twins so if you think it looks good on me, it'll look great on you:)...bahahaha.

Gonna try out the Tresemme Anti-Breakage Shampoo and Conditioner along with the Macadamia Oil hair repair kit. ;). Thanks for the heads up, Twin!

    2. Good idea! I was thinking the easiest thing to do would be a gift card but its not all that personal. Thanks for the suggestion! I will jot down a few of my most loved items and put them all together! And I will TOTALLY send you Green Tea Kit-Kats soon as I find more!

    1. Thank you, I miss having black hair but I dont plan on having dark hair for a while. Its just way too hard to lighten it once its dark...:(. I have no fashion sense what so ever so I just play with my face and hair to balance whats lacking in the wardrobe department...lol. hope to see you more often, ill give your blog a look to.
